[KOPETE] ICQ History to Kopete Logs Parser

Hello everybody,
i programmed a java console application which converts your ICQ 5.1 history into a Kopete compatible xml format.

What you need:
  1. java runtime environment (@debian: sun-java6-jre)
  2. your icq 5.1 history folder (C:\Documents & Settings\[Your Username]\Application Data\ICQLite\HistoryDB\[Your ICQ Nr]\)
  3. your icq nr
  4. my icq2kopete_xml_parser.jar and the lib folder (see attachment)
    [/list=1]
    Usage (example):
    [list=2]
  5. copy your icq history to /tmp/ => should look like /tmp/[Your ICQ Nr]/[Many other icq numbers...]
  6. copy icq2kopete_xml_parser.jar to /tmp/
  7. copy lib folder to same dir as icq2kopete_xml_parser.jar
  8. start application with "java -jar icq2kopete_xml_parser.jar [Your icq Nr] /tmp/ /tmp/kopete"
  9. copy folder /tmp/kopete/[Your Icq Nr] to /home/[Your username]/.kde/share/apps/kopete/logs/ICQProtocol/
  10. ready!
    [/list=2]

    You can also convert your history from older icq versions, like ICQ 2003b Pro. To do so, you first have to convert your history with "History Converter" from http://www.icq.com/download/icq5/history_converter.html to the new ICQ 5.1 history format. Then procede as written above.
