Deleted contacts keep reappearing
Hello,
I'm having problems with my Contacts in Kontact. I was trying to setup my PDA to sync with Kontact and so before I started the process, I backed up all my contacts. When I synced the first time, all the contacts in Kontact were essentially duplicated. No problem, I thought. I'll simply delete them all and import the backup. I tried that and everything worked great. Except that all the duplicates showed back up again. I deleted everything in the /home/myuser/.kde/kabc folder and replaced it with clean Kontact files to start over. Then reimported the backup. Everything looks great with just one set of contacts for a couple of minutes then the old ones show back up. What am I doing wrong or missing? Do I need to delete the resource? If so, how to I set a new one? I'm getting frustrated because I've tried this several times now and I always get the duplicated contacts back.
Any assistance would be hugely appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!!
