SuSE's Kickoff menu is not a standard KDE widget. You have to patch your KDE to have that menu. Kickoff is open source, so it should be fairly easy to patch. If you are determined to have this menu, talk to the owner of kdemod.ath.cx. He successfully ported it to arch linux. As for icons and style, the menu icons are tied to your theme, and it's just the 'K' Graphic that you'll have to provide yourself.
If you don't want to go through all that work, there are replacement KDE menus that has search built in, and is pretty slick. It's not as nice as the Kickoff menu, but it might do the trick for you.
Look at Tasty Menu -

Or KBFX Menu -

I've used KBFX before, and it is nice. I had a bit of a time with the ordering of the menu items, but I didn't play around with it too much.
