kpdf

I was using kpdf and 2 problems showed up
1; I wanted to enlarge a part of the page; used the magnifier (under tool) and then couldn't find a way to go back to normal size.(there was no minimizer function)
2.Shortly after this I used kpdf to open a pdf and somehow got 5 small thumb shots vertically in the center of the page.
I seem unable to get rid of this
Please help
thanks
p.s
the "help" section (on my Konqueror)has the "search" function greyed out and I was unable to locate any mention of kpdf

Kpdf has zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and left side of zoom drop-down box.

kpdf

My apologies
I did not realize that when I left clicked on an icon( pdf) in the documents folder that it was NOT using kpdf but Konqueror to open it. Somehow I had always assumed that kpdf was the only konqueror app that could open a pdf (other than Adobe).
(I feel that previously my computer DID open these pdf's with Kpdf, using left click, and that I did something recently to change this. Is this possible ?)
Perhaps I could ask where on my computer (Kubuntu 6.06) I can find out which version of KDE i am using. Going to Kinfo center does not list this.
Many thanks for your help
