How to edit kcontrol config ??

How to edit kcontrol config ??

I need to modify some kcontrol settings from default on one user account and then use these changes when creating a further 50 accounts either by using skel or a post-install sed script (or the like).

i.e.

.kcontrol
. KDE Control Centre
. Desktop
. Window Behaviour
. Moving-tab
. Display-content-in-resizing-windows [uncheck]

When I appy this change, I can find no file which has been modified.

Any ideas?
