I'm new to Linux, so treat me gentle!-)
I've installed Firefox (2.0.0.3). I've set Firefox as my default browser.
In KMail, I get a message which has a link. I click. K-something opens a window, reads the URI, opens a second variation to the window, sends the page to my personal cache, and then opens the cached page in Firefox. For example, the URI might read:
file:///var/tmp/kdecache-elStupid/krun/6348.0.T.asp
Any link within the page, of course, tries to open a cached page that doesn't exist - making Firefox as my default browser totally useless.
I've searched KMail options for anything "caching" related, and said "No thanks." Ditto in the KDE Control Center and Firefox (set cache to zero MB). Nothing prevents this from occuring.
Someone, please... make it stop!-(
THANKS!
