change konqueror background

Hi folks,

I am currently running a quite dark color scheme. If I open konqueror, I still have the white standard background within the file listing.

Does anyone know how to change that? I tried already to change settings within the CSS settings of konqueror configuration but no luck.

Another question: Where do I change the color for the font in the path address line?

Cheers.

settings->configure konquero->appereance, normal text colour.

view->configure background. You shouldn't use "save view changes per folder", to apply background to all situations.

RE: change konqueror background

edit ~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc changing entry for BgImage= and referencing a tile placed in /usr/share/apps/konqueror/tiles

e.g.: BgImage=paper_flieder.png

RE: change konqueror background

Open Konqueror - Click the 'Navigate to your 'Home Location'' button at the top to go to your home folder.

Now click View --> Configure Background...

You can use the 'open file dialog' (browse) button to the right of the path, to browse to the image you want for your file manager background.
