kopete with webcam, laggy

Hi!

I got a problem with kopete using webcam since I upgraded to feisty fawn.
The camera works, and can send. But when I do. Kopete gets really slow.
Can't see what I'm writing because I have to wait for the text.
And also, the other persons webcam shows in slow motion.
I have tried reinstall kopete and erased my settings. Yet it is laggy.
If a start the webcam in other application and tries kopete, it's not laggy
so I believe it has nothing to do the computers hardware.
When the webcam is on in kopete, its all slow. I have no idea what to do.

any ideas?
