Hi All

Have asked this question before, and never got a reply that I was 100% happy with.
Are any of you using Anti Virus Software ? If so - please can you guys let me know what you are using.
If not - then is it safe to assume that one does not need a anti virus for Linux KDE ?

Thanks in advance for the help

Cheers

I don't bother with antivirus software. One of the reasons I'm using Linux is because it's reasonably impervious to viruses, and totally impervious to spyware. And I don't use Word or Excel-format files, either. I have OpenOffice at work on my Windows box and at home on my Linux machine, all so that I don't have to worry about Microsoft Office macro viruses.
In retrospect, everything is funny.

i use linux since 1998. Never seen one linux virus that could infect a linux desktop system.
If you install software from trusted sources, don't work as root the whole time and use a firewall, i don't expect any security problems.
