Network marked down, but actually up

Network marked down, but actually up

The icon marked network is down, but it is actually up! When you click on icon on the toolbar, Network Monitoring shows network is up, but icon with a red cross. All network services are fine, such as ssh, internet. But Kongueror and fish see network is down.

System: Mandriva 2007.

What is problem?
