splash screen problem

Dear KDE users,

I am new to this forum. I have one problem in splash screen in KDE-3.3. I assigned my own background image for splash screen and I am using Redmond engine. When I run test after installation I am getting my background image, but when I reboot the machine I am not getting my background image rather I am not getting any background image. What could be the problem? Could any one help me? Many thanks in advance.:)
