How to add a "alias" to send fortune-cookies to a chatpartner with kopete?
Hello there!
I have tried to add an "alias" with the alias module in Kopete to send a fortune cookie to my chatpartner or into a chat channel. I need a general solution to send the standard output of a terminal application to a chatpartner or channel.
I tried to add the following alias:
alias "/fortune"
command "exec /usr/games/fortune"
Unfortunatly this alias produces only an internal message with a "#" and it doesn't send it to the partner:
# Fortune cookie here!
But I want it like this:
<NoxTango> Here comes the text of the fortune cookie!
-- example from NoxTango
Does anybody know how to do this? I want to have it like the /media command, which sends the actually played media (music) with some kind of formatting to the chatpartner.
Please help me out. It can't be too difficult..
Daniel
