Installing KDE from source

I've installed in my computer the Linux 2.6.16.18 kernel and the X WIndow System from the X.org source. How can I find all the KDE packages (sources) needed to install a minimal KDE environment and where can I download these?
Never complain, never explain!

you can find the sources on ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/3.5.6/src or a mirror of that directory .

a minimal installation of kde is arts, kdelibs and kdebase.
And perhaps kdebindings.
