Create new or modify existing style

Hi,

currently I'm using KDE's Plastik style but buttons and scrollbars are to fat for my liking. So I'd like to modify that to flaten it and make it smaller.

Despite doing some searches I didn't find the right files to edit, so hopefully someone of you can give me a pointer.

Thanks,
Robert

Unfortunately, each widget style is actually a plugin/small program. So you would probably need to look into the source code for such changes, if the options are not available in the style's configuration options.
OS: Kubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake) | KDE 3.5.3
Computer Specs: AMD Sempron 2200 1.5Ghz | VIA KM266 Pro 8235 chipset | nVidia GeForce MX 4000 128MB DDR-RAM 32-bit AGP 8x

Thanks for your answer. That way of implementation really is very unfortunate. So I guess I've to find some other style instead of fiddling with the source code.
