Icons of KDE apps appear outside GNOME's System Tray
I have experienced having the icons of KWallet, Kopete, KOrganizer Daemon, and BasKet appear outside GNOME's system tray. They usually appear on top of the "Applications" tab or somewhere around.
What can I do to fix this?

They should enter the gnome systemtray.
Somehow they can't connect to it and start floating around.
I guess it's a problem with your gnome installation

What can I do to fix this?
Do I uninstall Ubuntu and reinstall it again or would there be a simpler choice?

What i alwasy try first is to see if a testuser has the same problem, by creating a new user, start gnome and the kde-apps and see what happens.
if the testuser has no problems, then something is wrong with the configuration of the main user, if the testuser has the same problem, then something else goes wrong.
