upgrade KDE 3.5.5 and no mount :-(((((((((

hi,

I've upgraded my Kubuntu Dapper KDE 3.5.2 to 3.5.5.
everythings works fine, but I can't mount at all.

the error message:
mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified

However Kaffeine can play my CD, but if I would like to open it with Krusader or Konquedor, I see only an empty folder. :-(((

what should I do?

please help me
thanks

You need to configure your /etc/fstab This is where you tell Linux what to mount on startup and how you want it. I recommend you Google for info on how to do this.

Thanks for your advice. Next time...

Meantime I solved the problem, that I upgraded my Kubuntu Dapper to Edgy and KDE 3.5.6, and now it works fine.
