KDE resolution

I wonder how make all elements in kde become smaller when I change resolution. I like to have all elements (images and text) small, so as to have more things at screen. But when even I change resolution icons and buttons still to huge.

When I change resolution on windows every thing become smaller and this is good, why can't I do the same on KDE.

My 1024x768 looks like a better 800x600, but not a trully 1024x768 like windows does.

Thanks for your atention, and I am sorry if I am talking too much about windows.
