Exporting KMail mail to another client

Is there any way to export mail from KMail into another email client, specifically GNUMail?

I see there is an "import" option but no mention of exporting. Is it possible to do this?

kmail has no export options.
Dunno what file format gnu mail wants, but if it is mbox (mostly used in unix):, you can create new folders in kmail and choose mbox as folder format.
Then copy the content of the existing kmail folders to the new mbox folders
after that, you move the filled mbox folders from ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail or ~/Mail to the location gnu mails wants to see them
