Firefox - Interface experience between Gnome and KDE

Hi,
I am new to KDE I was used to use Gnome and notice one thing when I switched from KDE.
Why for example the GUI from Firefox(especially progress bar, menu and web form elements) are so different from KDE to Gnome?

I know Firefox has some Gnome extensions and other related stuff.

Is this difference really happens with all? Or am I just miss configuring something?

Diff between QT and GTK is causing this?

Thanks in advance,
Ubuntu 6.10 - KDE 3.5.5 - Drinking some Beer!!!

Firefox uses XUL, which uses the GTK-widgest under Linux. Firefox does not use Qt.

It is possible that your installation has a gtk-qt bridge, which makes gtk applications use the qt widgets.

If that is the case, then other gnome applications would also look different when launched from within kde.
