How to refresh all KDE without having to log out?

I am creating a shell script and that install an icon set. Problem is that if you want to see changes, you have to log out and to log back in. I don't want that, and I want to use my shell script (not the k control center).

I know there is a trick to have the new icon set to show up right away without having to log out, but I don't remember...

I think there's a process that I need to kill... Do you remember? Do you know how I could do that? Thanks ;)
Charles.
