New game: How well do you know your KDE?

Don't know if it's possible. But I think this kind of game could be great fun, and useful too!

The main idea is that this is kind of a "get a mission, use different tools and complete the mission" game.
However, your mission won't be to kill the boss, and your "tools" aren't guns and bazookas. No, this game is focusing on your Desktop Environment, KDE.

?(

Here is an example:

>> Mission: find the document "foo.txt" and add this line "foo has been here" at the end of the file.
>> Tools: terminal, Linux commands documentation

Well, there are many ways to complete the mission. You'll get score based on how effective your are. Well, I don't know exactly how this will work.

Another easier mission could be "Open Konqueror. The less key/mouse presses and mouse moment, the better!".

This game is focusing on those who are new to Linux/KDE. I haven't thought of the interface yet, but some kind of documentation and google could come quite in handy.

As I said, I'm not sure this kind of game is possible. But I think it would be great to know your system better. Some kind of story mode could be quite cool too, and the feature to download new "missions" from the Internet (made by other users).
What do you think? (And sorry for my poor English, hope you understand. Otherwise, just ask, and I'll try to explain better)

well, sounds funny. if you want to try to write something like that, go ahead :D

i guess it's not that hard using dcop and stuff like kommander...

anwyay, KDE is NOT a windowmanager, Kwin is a windowmanager. KDE is a Desktop Environment :D

Sadly, I don't know C++ too well, and we shouldn't even mention Qt...
However! I've decided to learn Qt when KDE4 is out. Maybe this game is too much to begin with, but maybe I'll try in the future.

According to me this game must be hundred percent funny and enjoyable. Best thing is the game focusing on those who are new to Linux/KDE. Really I haven't thought of the interface. Sounds good for some kind of documentation require. Shout of this game is quite handy.
