help on QT example 'EXPANSION ' issue

hI guys,
1) I am currenty using QT 3.3.4 version and 'MinGW' Compiler
2) I am facing a problem with the QT 'Layout' example.
3) When i run the exe for the example and keep the displayed form MINIMIZED in the task bar ,say, for a while, the form seems to expand.
4) I am doubtful now as to whether its a QT bug with the layouts or is it something else
5)The screenLayouts are as attached with this post...
