[kopete] Now Listening plugin doesn't use specified string

[kopete] Now Listening plugin doesn't use specified string

hey, been using Kopete for a good while now, it's a great IM client. I have just one niggling issue - the Now Listening plugin doesn't seem to work properly. When the advertising mode is set to replace the status message with a Now Listening string it seems to ignore the string specified in the plugin configuration.
that's it, the only issue that I'm having - if anyone could suggest a fix or workaround it'd be great.
