file manager default two column style
Hi all,
I want to configure my KDE Konqueror File Manager so that I have defaul two column style when I start File Manager. I tried to find it in configuration console but I didn't succeed.
Could anybody be so kind and write me how can I do it if it's possible.
Thanks and Regards,
Boris
RE: file manager default two column style
You can save these layouts with profiles. You can find that in the Settings menu.

Hi,
thanks for the reply. Profile is that what i did, but I have to load this profile each time i open file manager. Is there a way how can I load my personal profile by default every time I start a new file manager window?
thanks.

Run
|
Source code
|
1
|
$ konqueror --profile MyProfileName
|
from the shell. You can also edit the entries in your menu to match the upper command.

Thanks, it worked. I have one more question. I created a icon on the desktop with your command and it opens the file manager with my profile. Ok. But I want to have it now in my start menu. I tried to move the icon to start menu but it didn't work. Could you please give me one more advice on this?
thanks.
