New features of ktimemon (German: System Monitor)?

Hello,
can someone explain the new features of the kicker applet ktimemon?
(It's called System Monitor in German.)

There are two new things that will be displayed now and I don't understand.
What "IOWait" means I can guess, but what does "temporary saved" (German: "zwischengespeichert") mean here? What's the difference to "buffered" or "used"?
