irkick profile.xml code to start application?

With the IRKick GUI you can set it up to start an application with a remote control. But I want to improve the profile files for Amarok and kaffeine and two obviously missing entries are those to start each application. Trouble is I can't find an example of this in the other files and don't know enough about dcop to be able to find a dcop command to start an app.
So I'm left using irexec which is OK, but not so elegant.... ?(
