Why is Kopete eating CPU?

Why is Kopete eating CPU?

When Kopete is starting up, its taking 100% cpu for 1 minute, the icon coming up but cant use it. Then when im connected to msn it uses 100% cpu like every 5 minute, its freeze the computer for 10 seconds. I now tried gaim and its doing fine, no crazy cpu peaking. I tried Kopete in both kubuntu and suse, i have the same problems with cpu usage.
