Creating a whole different look and feel

I'd like to redraw all widgets, toolbars, input boxes, buttons, tabs, borders, etc...of KDE. I wasn't able to find documentation to change the old look and feel and use mine instead. Could you help me please? I have 2 friends who are C++/Qt developers who could help me compile code if necessary. What I need to know is where these image files are located to replace old look and feel.
