how to install when cannot boot from cd-rom

How can I install kde when cd-rom will not boot at start up ?
Can I get a floppy disk to boot from then load from cd-rom ?
any help would be greatful I'am new to linux kde so not sure on to much of the commands.

First, KDE and Linux are two completely different things, don't mix them up. Second, probably you should configure your BIOS to boot from the CD.

bios will not allow

tried setting bios to boot up from cd will not
