KDevelop FileTree and Diff view

Wouldn't it be more useful to be able to select multiple
files in KDev's FileTree sidebar (and in its File Selector) ?
At present you have to individually select every file you
want to have in the embedded editor. Any easy patches
around ?

Kdev.'s Difference Viewer asks for a patch file. I guess
it wouldn't be trivial to extend this by first taking two
files, DIFF them and then pipe their patch directly into the
Diff window (as an extra tool or plugin ?)
