KDE Kontact problem

Hi there

I am running SuSe 9.1
I have been using my default installation of Kontact for a long time and I have not experienced this problem before.

Problem:
An error now comes up whenever I try to edit or add a new contact :
"The resource '_home_username_.kde_share_apps_kabc_std.vcf' is locked by application ''.

I have tried re-booting and even tried changing the permissions on the above file, but without luck.
Can anybody tell me how I can resolve this problem?
