Konqueror not keeping toolbars

Konqueror not keeping toolbars

SuSE 10.1 on Thinkpad T20, Piii (700mhz), 377 mb RAM.

At first installation of SuSE (last week), Konqueror would add new toolbars upon request, but they would disappear if K. was closed and restarted. In the last day or two, K. has ceased to even show new toolbars when they are added, except the bookmark bar. But it won't show my bookmarks (and it still goes away if the browser is closed and restarted). Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.
