fresh kde instalation

Hey I just emerge kde (i'm running gentoo) and I don't seem to be able to make it work.

I changed my rc.conf to
XSESSION="kde-3.5.2"

and when I press startx the screen become black and I can see the mouse cursor. The is nothing else, if I click on my mouse I can see the TWM option but nothing else, so prety much the same thing as X alone.

Any guess ?
