KDE Light

I think it is most important to keep it fast and stable rather than beating the brain to add some new feature.

Perhaps marketing some of the more hidden features would be an idea. People can only cope with so many features.

Perhaps a KDE light was in order to compete with the alternative window managers.

And how about a KDE for kids going beyond themes.

An option like Apple's 'simplified Finder' would be a very good idea indeed. Select 'simplified' and only the strictly necessary options remain... That would make KDE more accessible for many people.

I totally agree with that.

If there were serveral levels that enable/disable features in all applications, it would be great. It could be a framework which provides kde's programmers a simple way to declare this feature in experienced level and this one in beginner's one.
