NFS && media:/

I suppose this is kded related bug or issue but I had to check weather it happens on other 'puters too or it is something to do with my settings.

I have set a local NFS server/client in my LAN. I have set to get mount of 192.168.1.2:/home/music/ in fstab:

Source code

1
192.168.1.2:/home/music/ /media/network nfs noauto,user,rw 0 0

So when I go to media:/ I get the mountpoint listed there so that I can access it via Konqueror. But when the computer (on the other side, the server) turns off, and I don't unmount it before it goes off, media:/ won't list anything. It is empty window. Not even the CD drives, not even Floppy. Nothing.

So I have to re/login and make media:/ work ..
This situation is checked by me on Slackware and Kubuntu using KDE 3.5.3.
Is this bug? Solution? Idea? Or bad "has to be that way" feature.

RE: NFS && media:/

Just a wild guess, but maybe the following command will improve things:

Source code

1
> dcop kded mediamanager reloadBackends

If that does not work, I'd suggest to submit a bug at http://bugs.kde.org .
