I've checked the fstab, everything seems to look fine as far as i can tell, though i'm not too sure what to look for. I know that the problematic partition is definitely showing up in fstab, and mtab (though i dunno what mtab is for
).
I'm on suse 10.1, i've posted a question on the forums there now.
One thing i noticed though, is that i did stuff up my linux installation enough to require a fresh install. But after the install, the partition is still not showing up. So I'm thinking it might not be an fstab problem, maybe windows really shouldn't be co-existing with linux!
I'm at work so i can't post the fstab right now (it's a home machine). I think i might try reformatting the drive or move some stuff of it coz it did happen after i copied a whole bunch of stuff into that drive.
I'll post the result if it works just for interest's sake
