Is there any way to change the "hide panel" button on the Kicker panel? I'd like it to blend in with my background when the panel is hidden. This is the button I mean:
You might be partly correct, AFAIK. The arrows that are used for the hide bars are 1leftarrow.png and 1rightarrow.png from the 16x16/actions set of whatever icon theme you are using (/usr/share/icons). If the icon set you are using doesn't have those icons, as per KDE icon rules, it will use the alternative icons available.
However, I haven't found anyway to change the background of the arrows.
I'm not really sure, because I'm not really sure that i can't be changed. There might be a hidden setting somewhere. You know how these things go. Sometimes you have to go digging for buried GUI treasures.
Don't worry, I'll try to dig around. But I'm pretty sure the arrow icons are limited to 16x16, though.
