kdevelop and idl files

Hi,

i've got KDE 3.4.2 and Kdevelop 3.2.2.

When i want to open an IDL file (extension : *.idl) in kdevelop, it shows me an error, asking me to go to the configuration center of Kde, and to configure Vim component, and then open a new empty tab.

First, i don't see how to configure Vim component for that. And second, i don't want to use vim component, but kate component, like with other files.

So how can i configure kdevelop in order to edit *.idl files ? (or other text files that kdevelop doesn't recognize)
