[kopete] Feature request / bounty system
Hi,
I have a huge bunch of ideas for Kopete, some small, some not-so-small. It would be great if there was a way to
easily suggest these features, and offer some financial incentive for its implementation.
Kontact seems to have a
very good system for doing this, perhaps Kopete could have something similar?
Cheers,
Jon

Actually, for most apps the
bugzilla is the place-to-be for all your wishes and commands. But you may be aware of that.

RE: [kopete] Feature request / bounty system
Yes, but I wouldn't count bugzilla as particularly easy and more importantly, it has no way of creating a bounty.
What I particularly like about the Kontact system is that it succinctly lists the features that a developer would like to work on, then the order they do them is influenced by how much money people bid for each. So in this way, it doesn't replace bugzilla, it just creates a way for users to support and influence the development path without dictating what the programmer must do.
RE: [kopete] Feature request / bounty system
please add votes to bugs in bugzilla that are important to you and they will get the most attention. kopete doesn't have any sort of system in place for bounties.
