3.5.2: No windows on taskbar

Hi All,

Hoping someone has run into this before..

My taskbar is completely bereft of application buttons. I just upgraded to KDE 3.5.2 (compiled with konstruct) from 3.3. Everything seems to be ok...except the taskbar does not show any windows on it. I've gone through all the configuration settings I could think of.


When I go to the "add applet" screen and add "Window List Menu' I do get a button with a drop-down list of open windows. But I'd like them layed out on the taskbar, just like 3.3. did (and every window manager since Windows 95).

Any ideas?

Problem solved: Looks like all I needed to do was add the "Taskbar" applet. I wonder why it wasn't there by default.
