Removing only the TRASH icon (no others) from desktop

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove only teh trash icon from the desktop. I know that it is possible to go into CONTROL CENTER and turn off the displaying of icons on the desktop, but I was wondering if there is a way to turn off only the TASH icon. If I turn off icons on the desktop thru control center, I can't save files to the desktop either. I want to be able to save files to the desktop, but have no trash icon. Is there any manual configuration that I can do to achieve this?

Thanx.

Just delete it ;).

It can be re-made by right clicking > Create new > *(URL), and entering 'trash:/' as the url.
