Why doesn't file-association stick?
I'd like to open PDFs with KPDF, not KGhostView (which is quite slow and doesn't have a Find feature). I've tried:
Open with... > Other > [select KPDF] > "Remember application association for this type of file"
But the next time I click a PDF---even during the same session---it opens in KGhostView again. What am I doing wrong?

RE: Why doesn't file-association stick?
In Konqueror, go to Settings->Configure Konqueror... and choose the File Associations section. In the edit box, type PDF and select the PDF item which appears in the tree list. At the right, move the KGhostview occurences (or delete them). Also check the second tab if KPDF is on top of the list.
