KDE 3.5.1 & Xorg 6.9 on MDK 2005 LE

KDE 3.5.1 & Xorg 6.9 on MDK 2005 LE

After compiling and installing both xorg 6.9 and kde 3.5.1 (using konstruct) , I find that only root is able to "startx" and enter kde but no other user , all other users get stuck to the blue screen with the X cursor. It seems that it's waiting for something.

So, when I try with root it enters KDE , BUT , the menu is empty , no applications displayed and control center does not run.

Any ideas to clean MDK settings or reset KDE to defaults???
