kde themes

hi i want to make my own theme..

i did basic reading abt making themerc etc...but somehow that reading material is unable to give me correct links for kde-3.4.2

can some one help me out with the basics in making my own icons and themes...

pl give me a reading mtl

Custom icons should be installed in $KDEDIR/share/icons (for all users) or in $KDEHOME/share/apps/icons (for one user).

That depends on the size of your panel. Just do a 'locate kmenu.png' and you'll see where it's located on your system.
