dumb config question

When I try to move a file into a folder, if my mouse stays over the folder for more than a second or two, the folder will open. I hate this. I've been using nothing but linux and KDE for 5 years but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to turn this off. Anybody wanna clue me in? Thanks
