KDE command viewer?

Hi everyone

I am wondering whether there's a tool that shows me what commands KDE executes. For example: If I change some system settings I would like to know what commands were issued, what files were altered, what modules were loaded or unloaded, etc.
Does anyone of you know whether such a tool exists or there is already something similar integrated into KDE?

I am thankful for any answer, idea, tutorial, how-to, documentation, link or anything else that could be useful :)
