menu reset
hi, I want to set my menu do default. I put some changes in categories layout and now I want to set it to default by generating new menu.
If I understand your question correctly, you want to restore the default menu as originally set up from kde, right? To perform this, you just delete your /home/<my_user>/.kde folder and restart your kde session. This will regenerate the kde default menu.

I think there is no need to delete this directory with all its content.
I never tried to delete only parts of it, I'm not sure if it will be partially recreated.
However, it's not evident to pick out only the menu items since there seems (at a short glance) not to be a file dedicated especially to the menu. However, you can still try it out... if it fails, you still have the possibility to delete the whole thing.
