Logging Konsole buffer to a file

I need to log the Konsole buffer to a file. I played with the notification options but I think it doesn't allow this functionality. Am I doing something wrong or is this working as intended? I can see a potential security concern here but I really need this functionality. If it cannot be done with Konsole, can someone suggest a terminal app that will allow me set a log file and log everything that appears in the term in real time?
