Firstly, how do I get Konqeror to open full page? I've tried all the usual tricks of dragging the window to full size and using Exit instead of clicking the "X" but it doesn't work!

Secondly, I can't for the life of me, find out how to activate the History sidebar! If it's there, it's NOT very obvious.

This has puzzled me for a while I always look for it and just give in, but I saw this post and had a good look.

Press F9 (or 'window' -> 'Show Navigation Panel') in konqueror to bring up the side bar and its the clock icon.

It's in the Toolbar configuration - "Show Navigation Panel"
