Kmail/Mandriva 2006 : persistent welcome message

Hello,

When configuring a new Kmail client in Mandriva 2006, I get a Mandriva welcome message. The problem is : whatever I do to delete the message, it reappears everytime Kmail is restarted.

I then discovered where theese mails come from : in /usr/share/mdk/mail .

I tried to rename the french files (as I am in France), and at next start Kmail generated english welcome mail as default. I then also renamed english files, and that helped finally.

My question is : what is the mechanism that makes Kmail generate welcome messages. Is there a complete howto explaining the content of .kde/share/config/kmailrc or other configuration files ? ?(

Thanks
